A few months ago we received a request for a Chestnut Table with Iron Steel legs. Our customer was also interested in the use of totally Eco friendly products. Being totally Ecofriendly involved the use of reclaimed wood to build the top. Ecologically friendly epoxies to restore the wood, non-toxic glues, and of course a finish that could be totally Natural.
Brian applied an all-natural oil wood finish that is plant-based, VOC-free and completely non-toxic, the best it shows extraordinary durability. It was chosen a clear finish that allows to see the beauty of the Reclaimed Wormy Chestnut. It definitely revealed and complemented the natural grain and patina of the wood.
