Table made with reclaimed wood from a tree

Brian custom made some the tables from  reclaimed trees.  Sometimes the wood came from family property,  perhaps some special tree was stricken by lightening, perhaps it came down as a result of a strong storm.  Whatever the case was, many of our clients want to reclaim the wood and create a table for their home that not just brings beauty, but also memories to be preserved and be shared now around their own family table.  If you want to reclaim a favorite tree, please give us a call, we can transform it in a beautiful piece for your home. 

Cherry Farm Table

This is the case for Susan’s Table.  The wood was reclaimed from a tree that had been struck by lightening in her beloved property in Rockbridge County.  After properly sawing the planks and drying it.  Susan, our client,  chose the pieces she liked the best for her future Farm Table.

After choosing the right planks, Brian glued the top together.

So much character! it was an honor to work with it!

The hand rubbed coat, allows us to reaffirm what we already knew,  the reclaimed top is absolutely gorgeous.

After seven coats of hand rubbed finish the beauty of the Farm Table Top is eminent!
