 This River Epoxy Table was actually salvaged from a massive ancient beech tree that was destined to be burned. This tree was so big that the entire table top is actually one giant beech slab that had rotted down the middle. In order to keep the slab in one giant piece, we decided to create a river table out of this beautiful tree by pouring epoxy resin, saving the heritage and history of this ancient tree.  

 The cracks and river are food-grade epoxy resin. The finish is Rubio Monocoat, an easy-to-use 0 VOC maintenance finish that allows for easy restoration of the table should any scratches happen.
